Online Payment Service coming in JustFoodERP 2009 R2!

Not only does JustFoodERP help increase your company’s profitability, but it will soon allow you to see these profits materialize as quickly and easily as possible. Using the web service capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, JustFoodERP 2009 R2 will be connecting to an online payment service hosted by Microsoft.
This new feature will allow users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to accept credit and debit card payments from places such as Sales Orders, Invoices, and the Cash Receipt Journal. There will be both an authorization process and an automatic capture of the required amount during sales posting.
Since this functionality is built within the application, there is no need for a third party add-on outside the normal JustFoodERP environment. The payment information is built in to the existing order entry process. This means, simply: easy to use!
Using the online payment service will give customers a choice of payment providers. Instead of being locked into certain providers, they will have the freedom to choose one that suits their needs. Out of the box, there will be support for various credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Of course, security is a key issue that needs to be discussed when dealing with online transactions. Within the application, the information that is required to handle credit card transactions will be kept as secure as possible, and the architecture of the functionality will adhere to market standards. There are two very important aspects to consider: the data that is stored in the ERP system and what is being sent to the payment providers through the service.
• The ERP data includes encrypted storage of the customer credit card number as well as securing that users don't have access to the numbers.
• The payment service is also certified by following the guidance of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council.
