Our annual Connect: JustFood User Conferences are designed to provide our customers with the training, knowledge and skills they need to be successful and become a JustFood pro.
This year’s Conferences were held on the West Coast in sunny Las Vegas and in the East in beautiful Chicago. Both events drew more than 60 of our JustFood customers from companies like La Tortilla Factory, Alive & Kickin’ Pizza Crust, Main Street Gourmet and Freshly. The two-day conferences included two distinct tracks that focused on our software ERP product roadmap, best practices and hands-on training.
Both events began with an opening keynote address by JustFood CEO David Pilz and a member of the Aptean executive team. Our acquisition by Aptean was a big theme of the event, and both TVN Reddy, Aptean’s COO, and Kim Eaton, Aptean’s CEO, did a fantastic job explaining the future of JustFood and what the acquisition will mean for our customers. Another great addition to this year’s conference by the Aptean team was a session on Aptean’s Factory MES presented by Roy Thomas, General Manager. His famous 300-slide deck wowed our customers and quickly became one of the most-talked about sessions of the event.
Following the keynotes, customers broke out into sessions designed specifically for the JustFood end user. These included sessions like What’s New in JustFood 2018 and Moving to the Cloud. Each session was curated by our team of food and software experts to help make using their ERP software easier and more efficient. We also ran our JustFood University courses again this year, where customers received hands-on training provided by our team and followed along in a live software environment. This year’s courses were on Inventory Management from a finance point of view, and JustFood Analytics, our new and powerful reporting tool.
Some of the highlights of both events included our Customer Appreciation Dinners, held at Blue Ribbon in Las Vegas, and on the Odyssey Lake Michigan in Chicago, a day 2 keynote in Chicago by David O’Bryan at Microsoft, which featured an awesome video of JustFood customer Garner Foods, and our JustFood Café, which gave customers a chance to have their most pressing support, product and services questions answered in real time.
