Part two of the JustFood User Conference 2017 took place last week in Toronto, Canada, at the Shangri-La Hotel. Over 50 JustFood customers from all over Canada and the US travelled to take part in the one-and a-half-day conference to learn from the JustFood team of experts.

Unlike events in the past, this year’s two regional User Conferences were designed for the end-users of the JustFood product, with more hands-on sessions, networking opportunities and face-to-face time with JustFood support staff and CEO David Pilz.

Day one began with an introduction by Pilz and a high-level presentation of the new JustFood 2017 platform. Michael King, SVP of Customer Success, then delved into the JustFood roadmap, new support processes and upcoming developments to the JustFood software.

Customers broke out into sessions in one of two tracks – Business/Finance and Technical. Classes in the Business and Finance track included a finance roundtable and JustFood 101, which highlighted some of the tips and tricks JustFood experts use to efficiently navigate through the software. For customers interested in the Technical track, an IT roundtable led by JustFood CTO Dan Oughton and Director of IT Denny Prospero, as well as a course on What’s New in JustFood 2017, were offered.

Both tracks also included JustFood University courses, hands-on sessions where customers are given access to the JustFood database to work alongside instructors. This year’s University courses were on BI Reporting and Manufacturing.

Day one wrapped up with a Customer Appreciation dinner at Cactus Club Café in the heart of downtown Toronto.

On day two, customers took part in a Manufacturing Roundtable to discuss issues like scheduling and batch production as well as a roundtable on Quality Management, which had customers discussing food safety initiatives and inventory compliance. Other courses included JustFood 2017 Mobility and Workflows.

Thank you to all attendees and JustFood staff who took part in making the second 2017 regional conference a success.
