Last week the JustFoodERP team hosted its sixth Customer Connect event in sunny Miami, Florida. Over 100 customers from more than 40 companies gathered to attend presentations and receive hands-on learning from JF team members, industry experts and dynamic guest speakers.

The event took place at the beautiful Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort and kicked off with a welcome reception by the beach. Attendees had the opportunity to network with their peers, meet the JF team and take advantage of the tropical Miami weather before sessions started the following day.

Classes officially began with a keynote address from acclaimed strategist, writer and speaker Paul Hunt, President of Pricing Solutions Ltd., who spoke about transforming profitability through improved pricing. Paul shared strategies and practical methodologies that have been proven to substantially improve the bottom line of leading food and beverage companies.

Following the keynote, individual breakout sessions commenced. Topics covered over the next three days included database best practices, web client improvement, variable weight and containerization. Attendees also had the chance to hear from some of JF’s most tenured customers on topics like food safety and traceability from Tamar Markham at Almondina Brand Biscuits, JF upgrades from Jamie Hornstein at Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, transitioning to the cloud from Dan Coyle at GU Energy and finance reporting from Joah Butler at Bruce Foods.

In addition, Brandon George, President of Hillstar Business Intelligence, hosted two value-packed sessions that guided attendees through the agile approach of mining business data and demonstrated how JustFoodERP and BI4Dynamics combine to generate actionable business insight across sales, finance, inventory and more.

There were lots of opportunities for hands-on training as well.

JF University classes once again proved to be a success as attendees were given the chance to take part in sessions that focused on in-depth training within various aspects of the JustFoodERP software. What makes these JFU sessions unique is that attendees work within a virtual environment, allowing for an immersive and engaging onsite training experience.  This year’s university courses focused on finance best practices for food companies, warehouse management and reporting functionality within the JustFoodERP platform.

The JF Café provided attendees with a spot to grab a cup of coffee between sessions, share their questions and concerns with JF software experts and check out some of the newest functionality features built into the latest edition of JustFoodERP. Attendees were also given the ability to check out JF’s recent Feature Packs including JF Plant, Floor and Scheduler, preview JF 2016 and take a look at PowerBI.

On the final night of the event, attendees were treated to a Customer Appreciation Dinner under the Miami night sky followed by a social outing to Miami hotspot Mango’s Tropical Café in South Beach.

The JustFoodERP would like to thank all of the guest speakers and attendees for making this year’s Customer Connect the best yet.
